How to get rid of old components
-
Hi there,
in the model of my wooden-framed house are a lot of components, which i can't delete, although they are obsolete. All the new good components i have saved in a local folder.
I don't want to bother the carpenter-company by not exporting a nice clean model.
Any suggestions? Where is the folder of the "In-Model"-components. I work with windows 7 and
sketch up pro 2015.
thanks,
Taipi -
Problem solved!!!
within the model-Information i found the statistic-window and there I was able to delete
the old components. Directly it was impossible. -
There are also various "purge" and "clean up" plugins available on the sketchUcation store that delete not only unused component definitions, but also other items such as materials (which can seriously bloat a model), empty layers, etc..

The native Model Info > Statistics > Purge Unused... removes ALL unused 'things'.
My Plugin http://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?pln=PurgeAll allows you to purge all OR selected 'things'...
