    I am trying to render using the settings that I found on an example online. Here is the link: http://www.slideshare.net/sketchuptexture/mtm-tutorial-forest-house-by-empoy-medina

    I used exactly the settings that the guy used on his model because I wanted to make my rendering realistic but I am having problems. The rendering is taking forever to finish. The problem is with the light cache. This is what it takes so long. I do not know how I can fix this problem and I also am wondering if those settings have something bad. Being honest, I have never made a very realistic rendering because I have problems with the settings. Thanks for attention.

      I have been having the exact same problem, and posted my problem as well. But nobody has replied yet. It's quite frustrating getting no help at all.

        Do you have displacement in your scene?

          @pieroarguello19
          Can you post an image of your scene so we can get a sense of what you are trying to render? They say a picture is worth a thousand words.

          So the first time you posted a question Cotty answered you in around 3min. This time you posted something a day ago and you are frustrated that you get no help at all? Please keep in mind that we are here because we want to help people, but this is not our jobs. If you are that desperate to get an answer perhaps contacting Vray support directly. Be patient, this is a great forum and one of the most helpful communities I have ever seen.

          Thank you,
          Robert

            Thank you for the consideration Robert, however I have all rights to say I am frustrated. Did I fly off the handlebars and say this forum is no good and I never get help? No, i simply said I was frustrated. And by replying to a similar post, I hoped to prompt the community that I was having the same difficulties, and I could be notified when and if anybody replied to this post instead of mine. This is a great community forum and I was just covering my bases.
