Cannot lock inference to green axis when moving text

Sketchup Make 2015 x64 Win

I created a big cube and 3D text and placed it on the cube along red axis.

Then I tried to move the text along green axis. Not possible. I could lock inference to red axis by pressing right arrow, to blue by pressing up arrow (and the text moved accordingly) but nothing special happened when I tried to lock inference to green by pressing left arrow - the text was in free move mode and somehow it didn't want to move in green direction.

As for other things (e.g. the big cube), it was no problem moving it along green axis and locking inference for it. I restarted Sketchup, created new project and it's the same.

Is it a bug? I can't find any information about this problem.

Select it-->right click-->unglue.

No. This is not a bug. As Massimo alludes, 3D Text is created as a component with gluing. To move it in the third axis (in and out as you're looking at the text) you need to remove the gluing characteristic.
