I've seen a section view through a model of a house in Sketchup, can someone point me to a procedure?

You need to activate the Section Plane from the Tools menu...

        Click to watch gif...

          Thanks Rich,
There doesn't seem to be anything on your blog about section views. Is it one of those videos?

You should click the image, not the blog link.

OK, Thankyou, I see it now. My browser didn't load the image properly.

I'm surprised that you really need to also use the move tool. Its a two step process. Sketchup really is unique.

It's a simple way to control the exact location of the cutting plane. The Rotate tool works on it also.
