I'm going to be doing a tutorial on it so I'll save the details. The first thing, though, is to hold your tongue correctly.

I remember whenever Dad was working on something, building a shelf or another house, he would always have his tongue sticking out of the corner of his mouth. Brings back some fond memories.

Yeah, I guess it did. Seemed like every time we'd get settled somewhere he'd get the urge and be off building our next house. I was just a kid and never could quite figure that out, but it made life a little more interesting.

Speaking of bringing back old memories. I read your post Dave and opened Sketchup right away. I just see that beautiful little finial as a challenge.... ...I'm working on it right now...
