You can check out prices on my web site. CabMaker32.com
You must log in to see prices.

The web dialog currently will not create a stair with curved and straight steps. A future version will add this capability.

There is a 2D to 3D stair conversion utility that will create treads and risers based on a 2D drawing. You could use the Stair Maker to create the curved portion of the stair and use the 2D to 3D utility to create the rest of the treads.

Here is an interesting side effect that I didn't expect. Here I put in a -20 mm progressive flare on the last 8 treads and it works - providing you check "Flare Sawtooth Face".

              Stair with negative progressive flare

I've now added straight stairs to stair maker.
Here is one with what we call a foot.
The straight stair is available with flares.

I'm Just finishing off with testing.

Great. So now you need to be able to combine a spiral and straight which is what I need right now--A 180 spiral then straight to the top).

Yes Robert - that is the plan.
However, Next will be quarter and half landings.
Then I think I should add posts and balusters.

Straight treads combined with curved need the following options.

                          1. straight treads at top of inside stringer

                          2. straight treads at bottom of inside stringer

                          3. straight treads at top of outside stringer

                          4. straight treads at bottom of outside stringer

Also need to look at notching points - where stair goes from beside a wall and then opens up.

This is a progressive flare - where the treads at the center get progressively larger.

Just wanted to register my satisfaction with this plugin. I bought it to help me generate a set of half-spiral stairs for a client project.

The plugin itself is well-done and works flawlessly. But what really impressed me is how well Garry K supports it. He has been tremendously helpful in showing me how to generate output from it that it was not specifically designed to do. (in this case a single central steel stringer)

And with every query —and there were several in my case!— his replies were prompt and on-point. Really a pleasure to deal with.

Highly recommended to anyone who needs to resolve a spiral stair conundrum.

                                          Doug
