How reduce the size of my BG in vray?
-
hello,
can you explain to me how can i adapt my BMP background and BMP GI....? because he is just to big !....thank you....excuse my english , i 'm speakink french

Sorry, you'll have to be more specific. I don't quite understand what you're asking.

I'll take a stab at this by saying that if you have a specific image and you to be able to move and scale it correctly, I would just make a curved plane and map your BG to that. As for your GI, I would just use VRay sun and match your shadowing to the image so it doesn't look strange.

je mets une image en arrière plan Via GI et BG mais cette image est trop grande par rapport à mon modele....
par exemple la taille des maisons est trop grande et je voudrai les reduire mais je n'arrive pas à modifier la tailler le mon arrière plan ... -
I think you want to know if there is a way to scale the image down in your GI and BG settings, and unfortunately that is not a supported function as of yet.

i am just a beginner in terms of VRay,
but there's one trick i use to align the horizon of the backgroung (see image below)
it's not perfect because it only stretches the image, but sometimes it worksyou can stretch it in height or width... in this example i needed it to be 87% height stretch so the horizon was where i wanted
but yeah, this is one of the things that is missing in VRay4Skp
this and a vray material picker
