I've been noticing over the months since I upgraded to SU 2014 that guide lines tend to disappear when I zoom in close. Sometimes I can orbit the view to get the guide to reappear, but it frequently is inconvenient, and it causes a lot of fiddling and zooming out to get the objects to snap to the guides that I set up. Is this a common problem or a bug, or is there something that I'm missing? Any help would be appreciated.

      Frank Borik.

It is common for me but it's been going on since well before SU2014. I don't know if it is a bug or a GPU-related thing. Changing OpenGL settings does change when they drop out but they still seem to disappear sometimes. I have found that the cursor will still snap to the guidelines even when they can't be seen so it usually doesn't cause me too much problem.
