Good day to all im just wondering i bought a new cpu and i want to use it full power in rendering and im not sure if im doing it right about the system setting

      this is my computer specification:
      Intel Core i7-4770k
Corsair Water Cooling Hydro H110 Liquid CPU Cooler
      MSI Z87-G43 Gaming
      Corsair Vengeance 32GB
      Kingston 240GB SSDNow V300
      Toshiba 3TB HDD Sata
      Sapphire R9 270x 2GB GDDR5 Boost TOXIC edition 256-bit
Brand New Corsair 1200 Watts PSU
      Aerocool Strike X-One

you can see below the 3 images i uploaded the two interior black and white scene is the new project i am working now and whenever i tried to render it , it keeps on crashing , i dont know why and i set different numbers for my dynamic memory limit which first is

      1. 30800 , 2 14400 , 20000, but still it keeps on crashing.

i already purge the layers and materials actually i am using a Cleanup plugin to clean the entire scene.

i tried to render other scene it works perfectly and fast. i dont have any logging exp whenever i am working with that scene and whenever i render the scene im not logging so i wonder why its not working.

I hope someone can help me to fix this one as its really important to me to render this scene. thanks

you probably have displacement enabled in one of your materials. Try disabling all your displacement maps and use bump map only. You can always add it back in for your final render if you save your calculated GI maps. (and then load them "from file")

So a few tips; don't change your dynamic memory limits to such high numbers. Sketchup can only access up to 3.8/3.9 gigs of ram (3800/3900mb) before it crashes. Its still a 32 bit program, and we have to work inside those 32 bits.

The dynamic memory limit is measured in megabytes not gigabytes or kilobytes. So when you use large numbers, like what you're putting into your dynamic memory limit, you're not actually helping your rendering speeds. If you set it to 0 its automatic and V-Ray will figure it out on its own. By default its set to 1024, so its a little slower, not noticeable in small renders, but more stable with larger ones. I'd suggest changing it to 2048, or 3072 if you would like to access more memory.

The next thing I would suggest you try doing is using the 64-bit workflow to prevent large, complex scenes from running out of memory. When running this method, set your dynamic memory limit to 0. See the attached PDF Document for more information. The 64-bit work flow, along with other helpful tutorials can be found on help.chaosgroup.com/.
