    Hi there guys
Well...here is what happens ..I'm trying to use Vray in my 3d projects ..but so far vray is not working for me..everytime i import a proxy in my scene (copy-pasting or importing..is the same result)..the entire scene desappear when render..and if delete the proxy all shows back again 😕 This happen with vrmesh exported from 3d max (i have tried only 3D max vrmeshes.)
Other proxy issues is that i import the vrmesh in sketchup..then apply textures , use Vray RT to see how is it going and everthing is ok..then i save it as Skp file and close it...but when i open it again ALL TEXTURES ARE GONE !! only one white material in the entire model is saved 😢 ......Any clue?.

I'm using SKP PRO 8 and Vray 2 Beta 2.00.23490

Thx in advance. Regards from México. 😎

This should already been resolved in the service release. Please update your plugin. The latest version is 2.00.24261

Thx for your reply DKENDIG but i`ve had the sames issues with the new version..with the FREE trial...besides the RT crashes with an output bigger that 640x480...
Another thing that happens is that everytime i save , close and open again the file with the proxy sketchup gives me a error someting like..

        " Error Loading File D:\ProgramData/ASGVIS/VfS/Ruby/R2P.rb
undefined method entityID' for nil:NilClassError Loading File vfs.rb undefined method entityID' for nil:NilClass"....¬¬

You're saying that the pre 2.0 release of 2.00.23590 does not exhibit those issues?

Crashes during render time, are typically due to running out of memory. Keep an eye on your memory usage. If it gets close to 4gb of memory usage, you're going to crash.

I'm very confused how you are getting that proxy related issue, it happens EVERY time you create a proxy, save, and then load the scene? I don't believe I've heard of anyone having this issue, and the SR1 release has been out for a couple months. Many people have been using proxies with little to no issue, so I'm curious if we've missed a bug, or if there is a workflow issue we can help you with.

The Vray 2 Beta 2.00.23490 (wich i use) gives me only the proxy problems. the Rt works pretty fine even with 1280x980 resolution.
The new version 2.00.24261 is for sure more stable in every single case..but Crashes with a RT OUTPUT bigger that 640 X 480 usin any file , even the same file used with the 2.00.23490.
I know ..and i don`t understand how sooo many people is using proxy and i'm the only one with this kind of issues.

Perhaps i need to buy the full version of the new Vray to avoid the RT crash.
By the way ..my pc spects are:
            Win 7 64 bit
            Intel I7 3.4 ghz
            16 gb RAM
            Nvidia quadro 4000

Explain how its crashing, is it a Bugsplat, or just an RT crash? I just downloaded the Demo to test this. The output is limited to 600x400 maximum resolution. If you change your resolution settings while RT is running it will crash. This is not a supported workflow.
