Hello and help?
-
Hi! I've been learning sketchup for a class I'm taking, and have come across a very... interesting problem! I'm trying to make a curved face connect to three lines. Sorry if that's not the best explanation. The main problem is that none of the lines are the same, so follow me doesn't work, and I can't figure out how to make them interact correctly. Ugh, would pictures help? Sorry if this isn't the right forum, I googled in a fit of desperation and ended up here, and frankly I just want an answer. I'll take anything, wikihow or video or whatever. Please respond!

Hello,
Yes, photos would help me at least. I'm sure you'll get the help you need.

Yeah, that's not a very clear explanation. Follow me is to extrude a face using a path of edges. "connect to" isn't clear. You could show a picture or give a real life example of the shape you want. Could be you are getting into more organic modeling issues.

Sorry for the wait!
I've just realized that I don't necessarily need the face anymore, but I'd still like to know how do to it if it comes up again in the future.

Emma, there are several ways to do that. One way with native tools would be to use Follow Me as I've done here.
There are a number of plugins that could help, too. It would be a good idea to learn the native way first before going the plugin route.

Two ways for the case with three different curves...
