Can I save more than one layer state. I am asked what layer state I want to over right when I try to save a new layer state. I do not get an option not to over right a layer state.
    Nice tools.

      @seasdes:
Yes, you can save as many layer states as you want.
Try to overwrite any of your previously saved layer state and see if it is still there.
I guess this is a bug but the layer state you overwrite will not be overwritten.
      Regards,

        Ken,

I'm not sure if this has been answered, I didn't read the entire thread, but have you gone to View> Toolbars> Save Toolbar Positions before you install? I used to have a similar problem, but once I save a toolbar position set up all I have to do is run through the process of View> Toolbars> Restore Toolbar Positions, and I'm good to go. Have you tried that? Or does this particular plugin just kill any saved toolbar locations when its installed?

Just curious, and I hope that helps!

Thanks for you very useful script.

Just a side note, installation of your script has re-arranged all my toolbars. This is nothing new, it happens with every script installation that adds a new toolbar. So I have to re-arrange the menus, and usually they are not in the same order, and another learning curve is required.

But this time, I have outwitted this darn re-organizational mess. I took a JPG screen snap shot of the toolbars before installation. Imported this JPG into a Sketchup model and saved the model as SketchupToolbars. So now I just load this program and re-arrange all the tools bars as the JPG indicates. Now no new learning curve.

Mr. Bur again thanks for the script.

Is it also possible to group layers into groups/folders? Just like in Photoshop?

Hi Didier, this is one of my most used plugins, many thanks!

I'm wondering if you could add a dialogue box pop up option for the second icon,'Set Layer of clicked object current and isolated' to turn off all layers 'EXCEPT LAYER 0'?
I almost never change current layer from Layer 0 as I have been courtout before drawing geometry on another layer rather than 0.

                Is this possible? πŸ‘

                Many thanks,

                  Hi utiler,

Attached RBS will do it. Unzip and overwrite your layer_manager.rbs file in your Layer Manager folder. That's it, enjoy !

Is this plugin compatible with 2014? It's one of my favorites!

                          It should be.
                          Try it... πŸ˜„

                          Are you on MAC ?
I think the MAC version is more 'beta-like' ?

Tooltips for toolbar icons on hover ?!
I am new to this plugin and am having trouble remembering what each icon is supposed to represent.
Does this plugin show tooltips on hover? and if so I am wondering why I can't see any.

Great plugin and thanks for sharing

                              Extremely useful extension, THANK YOU.

For the next update, please have a look at the Show/Isolate/Hide... layer-by-Filter. I have "Existing filters:' from prior actions but when selection one of them from the drop-down box, it doesn't populate the "Filter string to * layers" entry at the bottom of the window. I have to re-type the filter string each time. Can't use the prior Existing filters.

I'm using SketchUp Make 2016 for compatibility with my PCs.

                              Thanks.
