    Hi All,

Here's a quick test I did where I wanted to use a model from Daz3D Pro Studio , which is free...
(I believe it's been free for some years now, although the price is 249,00 USD)

After having followed a couple of tutorials, it's quite funny to use and you it's easy to export the model from Daz3D to OBJ and then I can use Simlab Composer to export to SU or another 3D file format...
(For this I exported to 3DS which is easy to import to directly to Thea Render...)

    Hope you like it... ๐Ÿ˜„

Already seen this on Thea's forum, well done Kim. ๐Ÿ‘
Wait...here is a comparison of the renders posted on the two forums. Maybe you did a second shot just for Oli? ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

I did make a second render today, where I adjusted some material as well as the size of the woman... She seemed a little too big in the first render and the candle wax also seemed too transparent...
As you know it's a little tricky to make such material... I have very good and realistic looking wax materials with SSS, but they look awful when using the BSD presets, which I used for these...
The time to render these was just app. 33 minutes... ๐Ÿ˜„

Nope - I've also posted the second on the Thea Forum... ๐Ÿ˜‰
I simply forgot to post the first here... ๐Ÿ˜ณ

A long way to walk for a towel and the toilets are tiny and very high up. ๐Ÿ˜‰

              But very nice image nonetheless.

For those of you in the US who might be shocked by coloured pixels I've made one you can look at without risk.

It's not long to walk if you look good and you have a mirror on the way, wich is the case.

I think correct order would be. Shower, white T-Shirt hanger, mirror, towel, bedroom... That's why people love architecture!

I think your version is much more adult related content than the rest, that moving rectangle is much more suggestive than natural nudity... I like this one better!

So where are the other angles Kim?

I have a plugin that would benefit this scene massively.

Perhaps I'll make an update, where she's walking by the mirror to get a towel... ๐Ÿ˜‰

funny how the u.s is setup.. we have all these censorship issues with nudity (amongst others) but in reality, most americans will open this thread based solely on the fact that there's a nudity warning in the title. ๐Ÿ˜†

I know Jeff it's ridiculous, my first thought on seeing Frederiks post title is that this one will hit the view record in no time. My experiences with the lunacy of US censorship knows no bounds, I have even been employed to rework sculptures to remove nipples and other assorted bits for the US Market.

That is a very interessting topic.

I use poser. which is quite similar to DAZ Studio.

I often tried to export models like Victoria 4 to SU via obj. But it was always to hightpoly. I also wasn't able to preserve the textures.

I'm very interessted in your workflow.

                                          I'm still using twilight.

What can I do to preserve the texture and texture cordinates and to reduce the mesh?

Which programm is able to do that?
