Printing Problem
-
I just started using SU Make 2013. I design furniture using the "View" -- "Face Style" -- "Shaded With Textures". While working on designs everything is fine. When I did a Print Preview my designs showed as though they were "wireframe" not "Shaded With Textures". I tried two thing: first I updated Sketchup with the latest updates. This did not help. Still the same "Wireframe" type print. Then I updated the video card driver on my computer (HP Laptop) using Windows 7. This did make a difference, but for the worse. Now Print Previews and Prints are a solid black block. How can I fix this so Sketchup prints in the same format that I use, normaly "Shaded With Texture".

Window > Preferences > Open GL
What do you have set there?
What type of GPU have you?

Hi David, it's good to see you here. I've wondered how you've been doing.

Hi Dave : Thanks again for all the help you previously gave me on learning Sketchup. Since then I spent a year at the College of the Redwoods Fine Woodworking School in Ft. Bragg CA. Now I spent my time designing and building furniture. I find Sketchup invaluable, but there are some frustrations.
How are you doing?

David, it was most certainly my pleasure. I envy your year at College of the Redwoods. I expect you've been designing and making some very nice furniture. Congratulations on the path you are following.
Back to your printing problem, what do you get if you export a JPG or PNG instead of trying to print the view?
