How to push an offset like the other?
-
It isn't totally clear exactly which video you are referring to but I expect what you are asking about is how to make Push/Pull and Offset repeat. You do that by double clicking (pressing rapidly twice) the left mouse button after you've done the first Push/Pull or Offset operation.

Thank you for quick answer, I will try it tomorrow.

Where is my submitted reply? I don't know, but I repeat it.
Dave, your instruction works well on Push/pull. But when I try it with Offset, it doesn't works at all. I select the first offset-area, change to Offset tool and double-click on the other rectangel (window). I get a huge rectangel around the first rectangel. -

New members have to wait for a couple of posts for a mod's approvation, so be patient please and don't duplicate the posts.
For multiple offsets you can try this plugin.

OK, sorry for my unpatience. Thank you for the recommended plugin, but first I try to follow the basic tutorial. When I am ready with it, I'll install this plugin. I suppose, the training video is made for the basic Scetchup vithout plugins.

Thank you, I know now. I select the face I will repeat, choose Offset tool, then Select tool, select the other face, change back to Offset-tool and double click on that face. My misstake was that I did not change back to select tool. before double-clicking.

So Ivan, if I understand you, it is working now?
Try this: First, do not select anything. Get the Offset tool. Hover over the face with the edges to offset and make the first offset action. After that hover over another face and double click. Then you don't need to get the Select tool. The same applies to the Push/Pull tool. If you don't preselect the face, you don't need to switch tools to select the next one.
See the short video here.

How is it possible to repeat the offset if I don't make it immediately after the first one? I follow the tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZwJntmJxi78 and I can not make the 2nd window in the 4th minute.

SketchUp only remembers only the last Offset and Push/Pull distances used.
The presenter in the video shows selecting faces before offsetting or pushing but that is really an unneeded step for what she is doing. Leave the faces unselected and just hover over the face you wish to modify with the tool.

Sorry, it doesn't work for me. I have the first window ready, saved yesterday. Now I have 1 fine window and 2 rectangels. I wish to make the 2nd window according to the tutorial. I have the 2 lines from midpoint to midpoints. If I only hover over the 2nd rectangel, I don't get it in the other.

Push/Pull and Offset distances are not remembered from one SketchUp session to the next. If you've closed the SketchUp file and reopened it, the offset and push/pull distances from yesterday have been forgotten.
