Good luck thomthom!
Hope you stay active here.
What are your plans?"No more making architectural models for me.""
Oops, see the new post.
This keeps going like this, it's going to get very lonely here!

...which started yesterday - when I began my new job at Trimble SketchUp as software developer on the Extensibility Team.
I'm, sitting here with the SketchUp source code and a pile of bug reports, many submitted by myself . Pretty nice way to start off after a nice summer break.
Heading over to Boulder on Sunday for training and introduction. Looking forward to meeting the rest of the team. I met many last time I was there at BaseCamp 2012, but there's a few new faces there now - such as Chris Fullmer. I began SketchUp plugin development right about the same time as him - fun to see that we join the SketchUp Team on about the same time as well.
Then I'll be back in Trondheim - working remotely.
As you can see, I've set up a new profile here on SketchUcation which I'll be using when representing the SketchUp Team.
-
Well I'll be darn. This sounds like a good move.
So take a little time off, then find my Bug reports and get right on them.
Ha!
Congratulations.
Ken

Good luck in your new move.
Any chance we can get that Crash Bandicoot plugin added by default?
-
You are two in the box!
Surface Bezier's plugin is always in course -
Yes, many congrats! But I hope that your plugins continue development. Bezier surface please

Hurray! Congratulations! Nice move by Trimble, hiring people that have contributed so much to Sketchup already.

I won't be forgetting my plugins.

Woot! Congrats Thom. I'm really happy to see Trimble taking on you and Chris (and likely many others) to help improve the app.
-
Great news Thomas, I expected this move sooner however, in fact I expected it after base camp last year.
I now have confidence that soon we will have better UV tools within SU.
Good luck mate.
-
Good Luck Thom Thom.
When I saw the title "I quit", I thought Oh no, don't quit SU!! but then I was relieved it was only your job you quit. LOL! But then, even better to see you'll be devoting more time to SU! There's hope for humanity!
Good on you, tt_su!

Best of luck in your new roles
As Solo said, it was expected... but not after a 9 months gestation period
-
Yea, it took a while to get everything in place so I could work from Norway. I've been tapping my fingers for a looong time.

Tig, so when will you be announcing?
-
I think TIG refused after they wouldn't change the name to Tiggle SketchUp....
-
What will you do now?
-
Congratulations!
(to you, to Trimble, to us, ...) -
