Render an image on a scale
-
Hi everyone..i'm new here so I hope noone has asked this before (even though i did my searching and I found no matches to my problem)
So I have installed Vray for Sketchup and I render with it but I have a problem.I want to render an image on a scale for an assignment I have.It is supposed to be a top view of a neighbourhood and I want it on a scale 1:2000 but I can't seem to find a way to achieve that, unless I import the image in Adobe Illustrator alongside with a floorplan on scale and stretch the image to fit the floorplan..but It's a really amateur way to do that and there's room for a lot of errors

(English is not my native language so please forgive my mistakes

Unfortunately there is no way to render to scale.
If you set it up in InDesign then after you've scaled it to the correct scale it's easy to update your render when you need to change it - as all you need to do is update the link.

I would render the image with a graphical scale next to it which would then help you scale the actual image in Illustrator/Photoshop whichever.

I've attached an Excel file that I use to get a drawing to a scale. Just plug in a few numbers and it will tell you what percentage to scale the image by in order to get the correct scale. You will need a reference dimension to measure, so it is a good idea as suggested above to place a scale bar in the image somewhere.
