A night shot called "moonlight and torchlight".The light in the building is a lens flare and the light falling across the grass in the foreground is done using the dodge tool again,to suggest someone off to the right pointing a light.

I use the dodge tool all the time even in daylight shots to add highlights or accentuate bright areas.

Beautiful. Thanks for the tip about the dodge tool, very effective in the right hands. Is the little flock of birds becoming your trademark?

Heres one from way off,the building is just visible on the middle far right. The sky is the same as the one in the second last image but augmented to add some blue and darkened at the right hand side.

The obligitory night shot with some additional red/yellow lights added towards the horizon to try and bring some colour into the otherwise cold image.

                        Another sunset version.
No matter what model I make or render,I always end up returning to low evening sun which can create very strong contrasts and highlights, such as on the tall grass at the foreground.
Its definetly my favourite type of light to use and experiment with.

Hi David, your ARTwork is fantastic as always. A true artist, thanks for once again brightening my day and making sketchup woes vanish, for a while at least. You should be making a fortune from these.....

I copy them and use them in my architectural renders (I hope you do not mind) from time to time, they are not used for commercial purposes but they are a great addition to a picture frame for living rooms walls etc.

                          Truly marvelous work Sir.
