SketchUP 2013 / Any ETA on that?
-
Anyone knows about an ETA / Expected ETA for the SketchUP 2013 version release? Obviously - it will happen during 2013
but I wonder how soon? and if something official was mentioned about this topic online or offline. -
They never announce release dates in advance. In fact, there are quite a lot of folks in the Beta testing team on this forum but even they never know when a Beta will start and when there is a beta already, when the official release would happen until the very last minute.
But since they have to sign a Non Disclosure Agreement anyway, even when there is something, they never reveal any info until after the release.

Some time in 2013, seems logical...

I think they'd be hard pressed to get something out before Christmas

By Autodesk logic it should happen in 2012.

But AutoDesk have completely lost the plot... Revit-2014 will be out early in the New Year [2013] !
It would be nice to have SketchUp 2013 sometime early next year... but we must wait in hope... -

When's the next Basecamp? Good question. We don't know right now, but given that our plan is to move to an annual release cycle starting next year, and that conferences are a great way to celebrate product launches, we'll do our best to make sure there's a 3D Basecamp in 2013.

sounds more like second half of 2013.
