I am trying to install the Cab plug in but when I save it.........it says that it has been deleted or removed. What can do to fix this?

      Thanks

When you save the script that you download the computer says that the script was deleted? Or what do you mean? All those "its" are fairly ambiguous. πŸ˜„

Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.

the dialogue box says that the file has been moved or deleted and I want to be able to fix it. I was able to download the other extension files but the cab.rb is not an extension.

This one? Just download it and put in the plugins folder.

Which dialog? Your clues are minimal... πŸ˜’

You should be able to download any .rb file onto your PC, try it onto Desktop as this should be accessible to you personally, without limitation..
Then you can simply move the file into the SketchUp Plugins folder...

If you are not even getting the file there, then check your web-browser's options, it might be set to do something unexpected with .rb files ??

If you do get the file on your Desktop, but you are then have trouble adding it to the Plugins folder then you might have security issues...
Check that you have FULL security permissions on the Plugins folder to do this.
              Right-click its icon context-menu > Properties > Security.
An indication of this being mis-set is if there's an additional link/button on one of the Plugins window's top bars saying something like "Compatibility Files...".
If the folder shown below contains any files at all, then something is wrong with your security settings - because Windows is protecting you from yourself too effectively...
              C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Google\Google SketchUp 8\Plugins
[where 'USERNAME' is your own logon-name]

                Hello,

Thanks everyone on your replies. I finally got it to work. Administrator permissions was the answer. Thanks all.

                Regards.
