      Good morning everyone,
as per topic, i had created IES light in VRAY Sketchup with intensity power of 5E6 and it doesnt show anything.
However my spot light and rectengualar light is showing perfectly. Any idea? i believe my ies light i have tried to set it at maximum power.
is it compulsary to put an ies file for the input ?

have you turned your vray light into a component? that's a known issue..

Yes, you must specify an IES file - that is the whole point of that light type.

πŸ‘Š i had tried to put in IES file and enabled lights and default lights in Options as well and put my scene to 2300 time so it would appear in night to test out my IES light but unfortunately I failed to see any lights
my IES light is not grouped nor making it component or exploded. i just having one ies in my empty scene.

can you share your IES file so that other users can test it?

Sorry it's my mistake for not sharing up the IES light.
                  Here's the ies light

                    simply it'weak.
it works, but as you can see in the attachment, this is the result in a test scene with walls 300cm high, max power wich apparently is 1e+06 😲 (digit 999999 and try to rise further πŸ˜• )
the size of ies light is default vray and also standard visopts..

try another file there are some great ies file in the same free collection you downloaded πŸ˜‰
i think this one is intended for some mini led or something, but not for light a whole empty scene..

                      Thanks for the info.
But one silly question, if i dun put any ies file in the input that means there will be no light at all though i put my power to 5e6 for example

It will show a very faint sphere, but the power setting doesn't seem to make a difference.
