    Hello evey body. I am trying to make a wire mesh for an elfa basket. I would like to make the material white but at the moment I am only able to make a metalic like material.

    What am I missing here have played with every setting I can think of? ( apart from, probarly the most obvious )

      Sorry guys, have it under control using invert in the difuse layer, transparency. Silly me.

        Just fooling around with some textures. Was this the direction you were thinking of going? Were you going to stay in SU or run it through a render engine? The problem is that mats cast a solid shadow or no shadow, but it would take a lot of post to cast the actual shadow of the mesh.

            Thanks for your intrest Rodger. It is a very tight mesh, and yes I have put through vray. I think it will do all I need it to do without all the polyons.

              Yeah best to use vray material for this.
