Circle selection

Thank you for this hint, is there also a free alternative? Or a sphere selection tool for selecting the inner sphere of cpoints? Maybe like this workflow:
- click center of selection
- select all points with distance < r (or r1 < distance < r2) with VCB-controlled r, r1, r2?

it will also useful to have a simple circular selection for objects too !
Or something like this : what is the objects completly inside(or touching) this volume !
(like the rectangular selection left to right or right to left) -

No VCB control but allows you to enter a minimum and maximum radius of selection circle/sphere.
