      Does fredoscale work for su 8? Or is there something similar for it?

        Yes it works on v8

        The closest thing to it is the native scale tool.

          After I download it, I click on the file, and picasa opens telling me it's an invalid image.

              You don't install plugins by clicking the downloaded files.
