Photo Match, is there a way to delete matched photo
-
Is there a way to permanently delete the photo used for matching?
I initially used the photo to place objects in the model at a specific camera vantage point and FOV, but now I don't need the photo and would like to reduce the file size and also save the camera info. -
Add a scene
Navigate to photomatch scene and right click tab and delete
In newly added scene use the Camera > Previous and it will take you back to the camera position of the photomatch
Update scene

Thanks, Rich.
I discovered that early this morning.

Alas it does not work in my case.
The image POV does not revert to the very exact position on an image. -
Going to camera previous doesn't guarantee that other settings from your scene (like visible layers) will be restored. My solution is to select the matched photo scene and then switch to parallel projection. When I switch back to perspective, I'm back at the same angle but without the photo. I can then add a new scene and delete the old one. This method doesn't mess with any of your other settings.
You do have to make sure you start from the right place. If you're zoomed in on your photo matched scene, the photo will still show but the new scene you create will be a zoomed version. So click the scene tab before you get started just to make sure it's perfectly set-up.

Where is it?Did you try deleting the scene? That works for me.

What I usually do is click on the photomatched scene.
Then click add new scene.
Orbit scene a bit and then click on the newly added scene.
The background image will have disappeared. Now switch between the photomatched scene and the copy to see if they align.
Hope this helps.
