Another silly Warehouse problem
-
OK, I've been trying to upload a model to the Warehouse, but after I enter my email address and password I get this message -- "Unable to Connect - Check your internet connection settings". Well, my internet connections are just fine, I can connect to the web or the warhouse or anything else with no problem. Any susggestions? (I researched this as much as possible before resorting to this, I hate having to post silly questions )

Have you checked your antivirus settings? Sometimes they are set to block certain programs from accessing the internet - if so, just disable it temporarily, or download from your browser and copy/paste into your model.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have checked my antivirus programs and there's nothing there that would interfere. Not sure what you mean by "download from your browser and copy/paste into your model".

I do use Firefox. I avoid IE like the plague.

Well, it started working, for no apparent reason. One of those maddening problems that fixes itself so you never know what caused the problem in the first place.
Thanks for all the help and suggestions. -

You may use FF for browsing the web but SU uses IE as its built in browser on the Windows system. So it does matter.

Yeah, I knew that. I keep IE up to date because you just can't get around having to use it for some applications. Thanks for the tip, tho
