    Hi again out there.
I have run into a problem that I hope somebody out there can help me with.
I wil try to make a simple example of the problem:

Lets say Imake round rod ( 15mm thick and 100mm long) Then I want to "insert" another rod that is 6mm thick through the first rod ( drill a hole trough the first rod to form a T handle)

When I try to do this by using "drawing a cirkle" + Push/pull, then I get the message: "Cannot push/pull curved or smoothed surfaces"
How do I fix this problem?

    Best regards

There are quite a few answers to this, but the most simple one is,

Draw your second circle so it isn't touching the rod, then it will push/pull.

Draw a circle perpendicular to the first rod, push the circle until it intersects with your first rod
Use intersect with model if necessary ( to create lines around the part where the 2 rods intersect ) but that's up to you ๐Ÿ˜‰
If I got what you're saying then this should work

Very tiny geometry causes problem for Sketchup and OpenGL so you are getting near the limit here...
Scale everything up x10 before doing the intersect, scale back down afterwards...
          Here's a simple step-by-step...Capture.PNG
