Cant see crosshairs

hi all
im using su8 free
when i use the mouse to select using a window or crossing i cant see the crosshairs
the edges/faces are selected ok. any clues why?

Could be a possible graphics-card issue.
Have you got the latest driver for your graphics-card ?
Do its settings allow an app like SUp to optimize the settings?
Also tryWindow > Preferences > OpenGL
adjust the setting of the various options and see if any of the combinations help with your display issue...

i turned off hardware acceleration and i seems to work now

It will run noticeably slower that way, so I suggest you also check drivers etc - updating etc might mean it can work faster again...
