        Hey, Rich:
        Nice image, elegant effects. F-holes are full of goo. πŸ’š

          I'll resist responding to that πŸ˜‰

          This is a model from Archive3D that I just mapped and sent to Thea. I'm testing a new polycruncher for SU that works wonders on hi-poly files. It has tons of group/instancing options etc. Still a bit buggy but it's early in developement. It even has a cool UV mapping feature that make texturing a breeze

              The textures aren't mapped correctly along the band at the bottom left of the violin.

              Nice render. πŸ˜‰

                  😐 ... [thinking]

                  πŸ’š so you don't mind if I say the model is terrifically wrong in shapes and proportions πŸ˜›

                    I didn't model it I just mapped imported and rendered it. It's name on Archive3D was 'Contrabass'. If it was named 'Trumpet' I would have titled the post Trumpet πŸ˜‰

                      Interesting trumpet! πŸ’š

                      Do you think the web "Archive3D" has good models. I have had some problems before using them (I think they have too much poly against the quality of the models). 😞

                      Working with: Win7 64 bit OS - Core i5 - 2,27GHz and 8GB RAM

                        Well it's a free resource so it's not stellar. But it's much better than 3DWH.

                          Nice work, Rich.
                          How heavy was the model after the polygon cruncher treatment?

                          Comfortably numb...

                            That's the weirdest looking guitar I've ever seen.

                            Lately you've been tan, suspicious for the winter.

                                    @TIG: Is that a 6 or a 7 string bass?
