Reverse displacement :(

i'm trying to render a brick wall in vray. But on applying the displacement map, vray misrecognizes it and pulls the mortar apart. My displacement map has brick as white and the mortar as black. I also tried making the displacement map vice versa that is white mortar and black bricks. But vray is doing opposite in both cases.

You're saying you get the same result regardless if you invert your displacement map?

I have not seen this behaviour.Also; exactly what version number of VfSU do you use?
