Saw a thread on the Thea Forums by Hieru. An interesting thread to say the least but one item caught my eye. It was the cookies in his excellent image. I got me thinking about displacement and other things. So I grabbed an image of a cookie off the web and made it seamless using Pixplant...
Along with some speculars, bumps and displacement maps...
So here's my first attempt at virtual confectionery. It needs some work as I forgot to subdivide the centre...
Feel free to have a go if you nothing better to do with your time. Oh this was with Thea by the way. This .skp attached is mapped and subdivided a bit better.

Great work - I'm totally blown away by the fact that an SU guru like yourself would find inspiration in my work.
Given how much I strugled with texturing and UV mapping my cookies, how did you achieve such great results?
