My Plugins Folder
-
this is a screen shot of my plugins folder... I would be very appreciative to anyone who would tell me anything that they think is redundant or obsolete... SketchUp won't even load... I must clean house.

Why don't you rename the folder to OldPlugins or some such, start a new plugin folder and just add the ones you need as you go.

Don't forget that you need the defualt plugins that come with SU Vanilla
-
Which is why I kept a copy of the original folder before adding anything. Although there is very little in it.

Need? For what?
The important stuff that is required by plugins is located in the Tools folder.
I've not had any problems with SU after creating a brand new plugins folder. (unless you actually use any of the bundles Google stuff - of course) -
I had a similar problem, took out half of the plugins, and SU started, then put back in a few at a time till I caught the bad plugin.

(unless you actually use any of the bundles Google stuff - of course)I thought that the Ocean Folder and .rb, the Utilities Folder and .rb and examples.rb were needed for SU to load? theses are all in the Plugins folder from virgin install...aren't they? I never tried without them...
-
As far as I've experienced SU loads fine without them. I've often made empty Plugins folder while debugging plugins problems.
-
That's why i don't script...becuase i don't pay attention.
Thanks Gaieus

How Could I know your needs?
Each person must Be conscious of Their reality.
I drop and delete plugins in the plugins folder almost every day. It would be interesting some plugin that we could set up a lot of folders and each folder we put numerous plugins. Thus, as our need to work that day, we could choose a specific folder with set of plugins.
