Templet

I tried several times to change the templet, and this change was never made. Why?

When you setup SU to the way you want it are you choosing 'Save as template' from the File menu?
Are you seeing the 'Template' dialogue box?
When you type a name for your template is this then the name that appears in the lower box?

I'll try to explain my doubts. I started my work with the "simple templet meters" now wanted to move to "architectural design millimeters", using the dialog box "preferences" but nothing changes. What to do?

Are you choosing 'Help > Welcome to SketchUp...' to change the template?
Why not use 'Window > Preferences > Units'?

It sounds to me as if you didn't do anything to load the new template. After selecting the template in Preferences>Templates, click on File>New.
This isn't a bug so it shouldn't be in the SketchUp Bugs forum.
