How to restore a drawing in SU pro 8
-
I was working on my drawing in SU pro 8, and suddenly the drawing just disappeared. I don't know what just happened. I could only see a blank new page there. I thought if i saved that page and reopen it i might find my drawing but it was useless. I only can see a blank new page, my drawing is not in there. What should i do now? Please help me. I need that drawing for my project and i have no time to do it again. Thanks in advance.

If you have autosave on it should have saved a backup (.skb) in your default save location.
Windows > Preferences > Files

I have found an autosave file but that file has little contents of my actual drawing (i mean the backup file is in earlier stage). And now whatever i draw in SU it disappears. Every time i move my mouse each portion of my design disappears. Why is it happening?

Do you mean when you orbit it vanishes? Zoom to Extenets (Shift+z) and see if it helps. How large is your drawing?

If you are working on something really large (say 1 mile long) SketchUp has problems displaying the geometry. It's called 'Clipping'. It's very common and nothing to worry about.
Where will i send the invoice for my services?

Whenever I run into a problem, I "save as". That way the original file is preserved up to the last "save".
