How the hell do you happen on things like that though?

Well I'm doing a large rendering project at moment and have moments where I have nothing better to do than surf the net as all machines are rendering and watching them has lost the novelty it once had (like paint drying) so I end up searching for the end of the internet and every now and again come across an interesting site.

well, it's not-- can we see that far?.. it's -- can light from that far away reach us?
i don't know if it can or not but i also don't think we are even close to having a grip on the universe..

3 dimensions + time? it sort of works because that's what our senses can pick up on but i dunno, i sense we're missing a few key observations as to what's really going on.
