The glow sticks thing looked really cool but it had me thinking that stuff could be both toxic and bad for the environment. I googled it and found this info:

Environmental Impact: Because the product is a one-time use device and is made from plastic, and because of the number sold, the device is considered to have a high environmental impact for purely recreational entertainment.
