Autocad to sketchup

hi everyone,
when exporting a autocad file containing contour lines to sketchup,
sketchup displays it in 3d,
is there any way to be able to have all the lines in a 2d plane,
i hope i could explain my problem,

You can use
flattenwhilst in the AutoCAD file.
Or use the SketchupSandbox'Drape' / 'Stamp' tools with the imported 3D contours onto a flat 2D Rectangle - they will then make a 2D outline... -
I think smustard has a flatten ruby...
you could also use the extension plugin to extend contours to one plane.
or of course Tig's advice with the drape and stamp.

i tried to do this with drape/stamp
but when i choose sandbox from scratch tool,
a crush happens,
so i tried also mover plugin to drop on 2d surface
but it doesnt exactly drop all the elements of the dwg drawing correctly -
'Drop' won't affect vertices - only the z of the whole object.
Look for the 'flatten' script on Smustard.com... -
i finally found a way
in autocad i saved the file as pdf,
then by a pdf-to-dwg converter program i created a dwg file again,
when i import this dwg to sketchup it is already in 2d

thanks again for all your helpThere is also a "flatten" command in AutoCad, it is part of the optional Express tools set.
