I am In the process of geo-modeling a house but I am having trouble with some windows
In the back of the house There are two windows that I drew
    House window 1.JPG

However when I go to put the translucent texture on them it does this:

    house window 2.JPG

for whatever reason it does not recognise this as a face

I have tried everything please help!
And for those who are wondering: this is a geo model, and I am trying to keep it simple so I wont be using a component window.

Looks like your geometry isn't intersecting with the house. Which can happen for lots of reasons. Could you upload your model so we can look?

The gable end isn't quite vertical so the window rectangles are not on its surface.
Remake the wall using the inference tools and axis locks to set it vertically and retry with the windows...

Take TIG's advice and learn how to use the inferencing engine in SU. Your model was really out of alignment(non-co-planar) and had lots of other little issues.

Here's a quick version of just the house for you too now apply materials and windows etc. It has been 'Grouped' so double click it with the select tool to edit it.

You can find out about 'Groups/Components' in the Google Help Forums. Just choose 'Help' from the menu bar
