I thought I'd post another marketing image I made using the fur plugin. I applied Solo's English Ivy across the gabion wall and a creeper to the porch....then applied satin plastic template in twilight....100 shininess. The scattering would have taken hours without this amazing plugin!

Thats a great ivy rendering. These 2d trees now look... like 2d. lol
BTW ivy in ancient greek means 'where genitals exist'. I'm wondering if there's a connection 🤣 . Leaves in front of... you know. I'm not talking about your render of course.
This couple on the right is out of scale somehow.

Nah, it's such a happy and well ordered world no one needs to look where they're going.

Michalis you are right about the trees. I'm gonna buy tom's trees...and also make a collection of 2d/3d png trees, i'll see how it goes.

I think the couple kinda look like out of scale due to the change in levels, maybe an illusion?!!

They are not looking because they are in awe of the fantastic architecture! 😄 haha

Maybe this will clear things up?

                  Hi Oli,

They all have canes in their hands? Is this a building for visually impaired? Anyway, nice vegetation and lighting.

                  Which Render software is this?

Download the free D'oh Book for SketchUp 📖

rclub: it was a joke! the original image is on the previous page!! chris fullmer said nobody is looking where they are walking. so I put canes in their hands! so they could "see". bad taste joke! The dwelling is a carbon neutral eco house.....although I am not the designer. Thanks for the comments! 👍

The render software is Twilight and some Photoshop.

I have made some of the vegetation available here:

I like playing with that nice plug in. especially making shaggyrugs. Here's a shot of my wives favorite shoes rendered with twilight, DOF preset low.

Joke, I like your render and your idea. Nice rug.
Is your geometry the generated with the plugin or have you used a component? if so, is it a simple or a complex one?
I haven't had nice resultsd trying to make convincing carpets
BTW Can I borrow those heels? 😄

Now I am embarrased to show my last try at this plugin...
not finished the composition yet, and the bg is postpro, but with the pc so busy I haven't found the time to make changes and let it cook.

Hi Gaieus and Karina, thank you so much for your comments.

I've used rectangular-type wih densitiy 8000 and max number 8000 length 40.000 mm, root/width 2.000 mm sitffness 4. But the nice textile look came with the DOF of twilight

Thanks for sharing. I only have one question to get it work in Vray for Sketchup.

When I apply the alpha map and render the grass it doesn't work with all the backfaces facing the camera.

Do you know how to get this work, because the result in your render looks great.

                                    Thanks,

                                      I think there's a checkbox somewhere to say it's a double-sided material in v-ray material dialog

When I put this on a double sided material, the mapping is not right anymore...
