Rendered animation in SU - what am I missing here???
-
Hey guys, Having trouble with understanding the whole rendered animation thing.....
I have a copy of SU, SU Podium and SU animate. [latest versions] I create a path in SU Animate, alter settings to suit then go sort our SU podium to get the settings right and render all scenes.....
This is where I'm not sure how to animate the rendered scenes!!
Also the native SU Animate animation seems quite 'jittery'. I think the path is divided up pretty tight which I would have thought this should previent that happening but I would have thought it should be smoother....
BTW, I know posting on the SU Animate forum would have been the obvious place to ask such a question but it said I wasn't permitted to enter. So much for paying for the program....

To digress for a second, what are other similar programs that will animate reasonably well [easy to learn and manipulate too] I might start looking around....
Cheers, thanks in advance,

Hi Andrew,
There was [url= post recently which at the moment is for Mac only!
I'm very impressed by this software's output. Let's just hope they make a Windows version.
I know it doesn't concern Podium but just felt like sharing

Mac only?
It's Windows too you know!I tried SU Animate for Mac, and it just kept crashing!

Have you tried "LightUp"? I think LightUp is a finer plug in.

Thanks guys, I didn't realise LightUp was able to animate.... Thanks, I'll have a look.
Sketchers Studio looks cool too, so does it render as well as animate? It only appears to animate native GSU...Thanks guys.

Just received an email from Sketchers Studio; it is only for Mac.

Still searching for something that will give me what i want...
