Place Guide Point

I'm trying to find the ruby script for placing a guide point/construction point. You just click and a guide point is created where you clicked.
I've searched everywhere - anyone know where it is??

There are different ones, this is my favorite( inferences and distances between points show as you move)

it's 4 bucks.. i guess it's worth that if you really need it but i've seen much more complex rubys going for a much better price around here
[for example -- wind-bourne's second link to Didier's Projections includes this function plus a whole lot more..] -
