      Hi all,

I'm pretty new to Sketchup and looking for some help here!

I am looking to create a box full of spray cans for a model of a hardware store.
Basically, the box is about the size of a pallet and will have a few hundred spray cans just thrown in.

Is there a way to do this without manually placing each can inside the box?
I have managed to create the can and can stack them neatly, but is there a way to get a sort of random messy arrangement?
I wont have to make all the cans in the bin, just the ones that will be seen from the top.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

      Thanks!

Mac OSX, Sketchup 7 - free version.

there is a component spray plugin if you want them all vertical, but sketchy physics might be more what you're looking for if you want a thrown in look. its a physics simulator and you can just have them in a grid above the box and let them drop. physics will do the rest by bouncing and colliding them. ๐Ÿ˜„

here component spray http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=323&t=11746&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=spray it kinda sprays in a random pattern so it might help too.
