Evidently this plugin alters the workspace, providing a ground grid and a floating xyz widget?

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.

This "plugin" is a Photoshop job.

People who want a NURBS modeller Sektchup-style should look at Bonzai. Since SU is a surface modeller - I don't see it changing as it'd mean a complete rewrite of SU.

Indeed, NURBS in SU would be a grand waste of prime development time in my opinion.

I would rather say it is a lousy window manager (vista?).

On XP, I have a rather humble graphics driver. So Sketchup has often offered me to draw on my Desktop (which theoretically should be invisible behind the 3d drawing area). But I never had success to pushpull my desktop icons...

Here is another one screenshot - no Photoshop:

well, I would still love to see Google developing the first Hybrid Modeller, combining the benefits of polygon/surface modeling with the ones of nurbs (or T-splines for that matter)...
(as discussed in an old post over here )
