I tried Zorro on a higher poly model (the naked man I posted earlier) but Sketchup crashes .
It's not the ruby's fault (great coding whaat !) ...it's just sketchup I guess -
I get this error:

That's what happens when you cut and paste from the example scripts! Try deleting '$exStrings.GetString' from the two offending lines of code (line 74 and 163)
Let me know if that does the trick.

I can think of many cases when I would want it to work like that.I think the best workaround for this, is to first group the geometry that you wish to cut, then use the tool. Only geometry within the active context will be cut. After you have done your cuts, you can explode the group if you wish to return to the previous condition.

when I install this script into my desktop (Pentium 4 2,4Ghz, 512Mb RAM, Radeon 9600) , it works good.
but when I install into my laptop (Dell XPS M1710), it can not work and have bug. I've tried the simple rectangle and "zorro" it but it "booooom" and sketchup out !help me resolve this problem ! I'm very interested in this script "zorro" but now I can not use it with my laptop.

hey just wanted to know if this tools is going to be updated, this tool and knife in subdivide and smooth will always crash my drawing without fail, it seems to not like like anything thats bigger than a fresh drawing.

Ive had this script working ok ..then all it does is splat out..
However its a fault with your model somewhere. Try grouping your model and locking it.
zorrro will now work on any new bits you make...As an exercise it would be worth grouping and locking in sections to find what is causing the splat.Hopefully when youve grouped the problem area zorro will get working again... -
I am new to this tool, but it seems great! Can you use Zorro on parts that are in different visible components at once, or do you need to explode them to cut them together?

you need to explode them. Only the faces inside the component you are currently editing will be cut.

Since you mentioned that you're not going to be working on this anymore, just wanted to inquire if anyone was doing anything with it to resolve the parallel projection usability. That would increase the usability of this tenfold or more.
I wouldn't mind doing it but I don't know anything about rb, except to use them
