It may be 3DCoat it the answer you seek -- you can sculpt freely (voxels) and retopologize easily so the the sculpted form will need the minimum amount of poly's to retain the desired form, which will help in getting it back into a Sketchup file at a reasonable size. I've used ZBrush in the past to do this but topology can be a more painful issue in ZBrush. Best, Jason.

You're a talented man pete. About navigation in zbrush or other apps. You, SU users... its [y] in zbrush, [turntable] blender, [lock y] or just [lock] to other apps. To have a different xyz navigation is useful when sculpting, sometimes. No comments for tex projection though, you don't have to do this.

@Mitcorb-I looked in the video's tags and the program seems to be Maya. I don't have a step by step version;i've watched the video for couple of times and i paused when he made major changes in the geometry and i tried to do the same. And for the ear, i've searched and downloaded an ear picture and i used it as a blueprint. @Jo-ke -I believe that the texture makes all the deal in your model, otherwise the model will be less detailed . Took a step on making her hair !! [image: I136_HumanheadbyEliseiDesignhair.jpg]
