Try with the plugin "join pushpull" you will have the two face of each pannel, just join the corner with lines to create the edges faces.

you could try rotix. set up rotation angle ,just hoover on group and use arrow up or down.

I don't know if i have something broken in my install,but i cant snap a hole on any line,construction line or point.is it normal.

I have two item wish list for sketchup 7

first : please,please,please inference forcing for draw circle
i like to be able to start circle at the end of a line
and very often i have to draw a cube just to lock the
circle in the way i want .

last : could be useful to have the possibility to create shortcut
for right click context menu .I very often loose many line
selection (ex: railing in staircase) in right clicking just
off the line.
