Hi I am afraid you are wrong Skindigo/indigo has Instancing and Proxies. Skindigo is the Indigo renderer, with a SketchUp plugin written by Whaat (Dale Martens) who is a regular on this forum. There are many who love it. Indigo is currently in the process of becoming a non-free renderer. I think they said the old version will always be free, but the new version is not cheap 595 euros starting February 1st.
