but there is a simple solution i could think of

i don't know if it was right or wrong so u could tell me

what if i've used any tool to unfold this surface ( like unwrap in 3d max ) and then applied the 2D surface that has my draw of organic lines on it and extrude it with the value equals the thikniss of sorface

but the problem is

what plugin i could use ?

how to refold this surface as it was before using ( unfold ) ?

i was modeling an exterior which has some organic curvy voids on it

i've tried tools on surface plugin
or even extruding curvy faces ... but i didn't get the result i hope

my question is :

if i draw the shape i want on 2D software ( Cad or Sketchup )

and i want to apply it on this curvy surfece to creat a void that has the same shape but on a curvy 3D surface
