okay, thanks for the link. I'll give it a shot. I am just doing what I can with the software I currently have at hand.
until then, here is a update render...with a little colour!

what are the gray curved pieces?
they are there for holding as well as i made them to fit a dock i am designing for it. I designed it without them as well, this just just the render with. you do mean the ones along the back edges right?
spent most of today working on this. my first crack at it...still not quite finished. going to work on the keypad more and a few other things.
let me know what you think of the design and render and what you think i can do to better both.
ahhh okay.
this is actually how my house and the 4 around me(which are identical) are designed. i live in canada and our house was built about 1972..soo i dont know if its just not a law here, or wasnt a law back than, and isnt big enough deal to make the change.
wow...amazing work with both the render and the real life stuff. some inspiration for myself.
I like this a lot mate.
do you do this stuff for clients or just for fun?
thank you very much...might I as which you are referring too when you are speaking of the "range"?
thank you for your comments tho.
I am looking to learn more about proper model building in sketchup and other programs.I have built a few models over some time but there is still much I would like to learn. I also do not know if what I am doing is incorrect or if there are some things i should do another way to make the building process easier. I will show off what I have and am open and encourage your critics aslong as you have some suggestions for me. thank you.
this is based on my kitchen, my parents want to remodel it and i figured i'd give it a shot.
