Model home+ Vray render
-
I am looking to learn more about proper model building in sketchup and other programs.I have built a few models over some time but there is still much I would like to learn. I also do not know if what I am doing is incorrect or if there are some things i should do another way to make the building process easier. I will show off what I have and am open and encourage your critics aslong as you have some suggestions for me. thank you.
this is based on my kitchen, my parents want to remodel it and i figured i'd give it a shot.

I like your designs.

thank you very much. =]

I like it as well. Only thing I see is actually a design issue. You don't want your range next to a wall. May look nice but it won't work well (or make your building inspector very happy.) Otherwise I like it alot.

thank you very much...might I as which you are referring too when you are speaking of the "range"?
thank you for your comments tho. -
Thats a very nice looking model!

He is talking about your cooker / oven which you placed next to the wall - in most countries that would be considered a fire hazard due to naked flames next to walls.

ahhh okay.
this is actually how my house and the 4 around me(which are identical) are designed. i live in canada and our house was built about 1972..soo i dont know if its just not a law here, or wasnt a law back than, and isnt big enough deal to make the change. -
I like the designs, but you should start using vray materials to have good looking surfaces. Vray installs quite a lote, and you find a lot more on their site
